PORTRAIT

Nathalie Domingo is a ceramic artist trained at the Institut de la Céramique Française in Sèvres. Inspiration for her work comes from all aspects of nature from the most fragile tree bark to the depths of the oceans. She approaches her medium in uninhibited and unconventional ways, layering fine trails of liquid porcelain sprinkled with sand for her ethereal organic forms, or developing a work of intense texture and substance such as her wall panel “A Taste of Chaos”. And she pushes her medium to its utmost limit, firing and re-firing the porcelain until it almost tears apart.
Her flowing techniques enable her to express texture, color, and fragility in unique and sensual ways, creating works of art of exceptional delicacy and power.
Nathalie Domingo accepts commissions to create projects for particular settings.
